I dont know about the one you ordered but
my friend has on with a suction cup (heavy duty with a toggle plunger type thingy)
You can pop it on anywhere you like than pop it of and pocket it when you park
Or you can place it in glove box or storage areas

| The sat nav you have got is not waterproof so not sure where you are going to put it. The old Tom Tom Rider had problems but the new one is great I got one a few months ago. Mine was £250 from Amazon and works much better than the cheap Garmin I have in the car. When mounting on the bars make sure the screen does not become a distraction. I used to use McLovin's system with the sat nav from my car which can work but its makes for such an easier life to be able to see the moving map, have it hard wired to the bike and the Bluetooth headset with the Tom Tom is brilliant.

just get yourself a windows mobile powered pda phone! like these from o2! http://www.my-xda.com 3 I belive have built in gps and the sat nav program comes free with it on certain tariffs,
Bung your headphones on hear directions, answer calls and even stop off at a wifi enabled hotspot to have a whizz on the internet while out scootering!
I have the many xda's my gps one is the xda Orbit my non gps one has a bluetooth gps to go with it and its got a solar panel on it so if its in sunlight it will always be charged!
I also use a fre eprogram that reports my postion back to my website so people can locate my postion live! I've done a few live postions but will do more when my new scooters on the road!
