For imediate seat of the pants acceleration, the 4.5g weights are the way to go! Rejetting the carb also may help for up top speeds. For an as-is stock setup, a #79-80 main jet will help get the bike to run cooler, more within proper operation temps. China sets the carbs up to run very very lean, almost to the point of overheating the motor.
For anything past that, a freeflow K&N filter cone and straight flow exhaust will fully open up the CCs you already have. Again, always rejet the carb when doing airflow mods. #85-88 main for this setup usually does the trick, but when ordering jets, try to keep a couple sizes in both direction to allow for fine tuning.
For going all out, there are big bore kits, clutches, and variators that'll get you accelerating more like a 150cc, but that kinda cash outlay, you might as well purchase a 150 and save yourself all kinds of work and downtime. _________________ Parents: DO NOT let your child chew on your scooter!

So just cutting the pink wire will improve my acceleration, I thought you had to do more to de-restrict a scooter as it says in a guide on here, the one by Billy Green.
Nice to meet you and find someone on the same scoot as me |

sorry for interupting but I need to ask, my acceleration is really poor, I put in 4.5g rollers aswell, does anyone know what the problem is? When I go out with my mates they need to wait for me to get up to speed. I got a decent top end up acceleration is poor _________________ Lambretta=150cc

Check the spark plug color. If it's dark black, then post back and I'll show you what to do about it.

You're way too rich then. Try cleaning your air filter. _________________

Take the outer face of the box off, clean the foam element inside it with washing up liquid and warm water, rinse well and wring it out, leave it somewhere warm for an hour to dry out and then refit it. _________________
