My bike is also stuttering when I open the throttle. Its a Lifan HT-125. Like a Pulse Lightspeed etc. If the cap is faulty, can it be as simple as buying a new ht lead (Is it the same thing) or what exactly do I have to do with the one now to sort it out. I havent made any adjustments with the carb and still has stock air filter on.

update, it started to do it again, so before ordering in a air filter, thought I'd try a sponge from halfords cut to shape, and it does work slightly better than with the old air filter! it seems to get to its top speed a lot smoother than previously.

So there you go!
