oh Sad not those horrible things! I tried driving my mums a couple days ago and nearly crashed it into my hedge, I was only turning it round on the drive. bikes are way easier to park.

I adopter her off of craigslist for free. New air filter, new carb, new kick start was all it took and then she was off again. Runs well.

The only places I've found that sell body panels are pretty expensive. Anyone have parts they don't need anymore to help me piece this puzzle back together? Or at least know where I can get cheap panels?

Here's a before/after of my retro 50. It has a different headlight than most of the ones already posted. I could use a left side panel too. I've seen them for sale here: http://www.atvpartsusa.com/mfr.asp?mfr=TANK&model=Classic-50 but the site's checkout security doesn't seem as up to snuff as it should be and their descriptions don't always match the part pictured. Confused Question

Maybe, but I'd guess not. Mine does the same thing and when I checked the weld for the side stand had been broken loose on the bottom. to look at the first photo it looks like stand isn't sitting flat on the ground. The weld looks to have come loose on this one as well.

Yeah anytime I use that stand it leans way over. I never noticed any broken welds the other day when I re-sprayed it flat black after I took the photo's. I will have to check because I always thought it leaned a little too far.

Plus I usually use the other stand.
