|
After both plastic parts on my original keys snapped off I decided to pop to my local Timpsons to ket an all metal one cut, took a bit of faffing about to find the right one but I can now report that if you have a Baotian BT49QT-9H like I have, the correct key type is HON31R it's a Honda style key.
Just thought this might help._________________

| excellant news mike and if they lose the key they might be able to remove the barrell and take it too a locksmith who might be able to read the actual sliders inside the lock. I think those sliders are numbered too.

Well found! I used to have terrible trouble getting keys cut for my Bajaj. The blanks were unobtainable, it turned out they had used Toyota style blanks for the ignition and Honda for the seat lock, even though both plastic tops were the same._________________

Any ideas?

You need to cut one on a compatible blank and then cut off the plastic part and replace that in your keyfob.
