I think that spring is pushing rubber seal down restricting amount of air coming to carb depending on revs.
But that onle a thought |

(Carburetor) there is a vacuum chamber containing a diaphragm attached to a piston (the vacuum piston). The vacuum piston resides in a bore that is perpendicular to and intersects the main bore of the carburetor. At idle, the piston is pushed most of the way down by a spring, almost completely closing off the main bore. As the throttle butterfly valve is opened, the airflow in the main bore exerts a negative pressure on the lower section of the vacuum piston. At this point, air is drawn from the vacuum chamber through a hole in the bottom of the piston, overcoming the spring pressure and causing the piston to rise.
Any comments from peeps if this is incorrect please.

Try a scrappie? Scooters R Us is the one I use. He does mailorder. 01892 730407. I expect any small Honda spring will fit. _________________

Hi Simar I think I'm right in saying the diagram is slightly wrong, the fuel pin should be below the white plastic holder, because the spring wont be doing its correct job, I think as the diaphram lifts the jet is pemitted to lift from its bore, if I'm incorrect please tell me _________________ I GOT MY NEW BIKE PURE LUCK |

Can't see that mines restricted, now it's well run in I'm getting 90kmph on the flat. How fast does anyone want to go on one of these scoots.
Wind resistance alone probably knocks off about 5-10kmph. _________________ If someone does something wrong and smiles, they have just thought of someone to blame it on. JL125 |

a gilera runner will only do 65 as standard so these chinky scoots wont keep up with that
most on here do 55-60 without any tuning parts
trust me they are not restricted _________________ yamaha yp majesty 400 and an 03 vespa et4 125 with some chrome bits on |
