Hi

I'm thinking about purchasing a Lexmoto Gladiator 125 but I'm just wondering if it is actually any good?

I've read some of its specs on the lexmoto website- http://www.lexmoto.co.uk/SB125T-23B.php

They look quite good- but I'm just wondering if the 50mph (82kph) top speed it enough for riding about 22 miles per day on British A-roads.

Also, is Lexmoto a respectable brand or could I expect some issues with it?

Cost is 1100 and I'm buying from Freedom Bikes in Preston, UK
Tried out some other scooters in the shop and most of them seemed a bit too small (Handlebars banging into my knees)
Any help would be greatly appreciated- I'm new and 17yo btw Smile

Chinese built. Common design. Parts are plentiful. It can be made into a 150cc easily by changing out the cylinder and piston. It'll last 3 to 5 years depending on your mileage per year and proper maint. I can't tell you about the British roads cause I live in the states.

thanks for the reply

but I'm still wondering if 50mph top speed (or so they say) is fast enough on slightly hilly 60mph roads?

It should pull 55 mph easily. Parts are on www.cmpo.co.uk

I sell them to dealers all over the UK dont get many if any claims for warranty - good sturdy bike, we continue to sell them and have no issues.

Any questions about Lexmoto ask me - I'm their account manager Smile

Good looking bike in my eyes, I have a problem with my friends smaller scooter I'm 6 foot 2 and my knees almost scrap his little scooters handlebars

I'll be upgrading to a 125cc some time next year I hope.

Having bought a few bits from CMPO very recently (for my Tamoretti Retro 125) I'll happily vouch for the excellent speed and quality of service Wink

If the roads get busy at rush-hour you won't need much more Wink I've not found it to be a problem.

Bought one, - check out my extensive review in the Reviews section on this forum.

Pulls (sat nav authenticated Exclamation ) 60mph given a flat road and enough time. Keeps up with urban traffic easily. Handles pretty steep hills without any real problem at around 35 - 40mph.

Been commuting 36 miles a day all week with no issues, first service at 300km due this weekend.

Well pleased up to now. Very Happy
