When I changed my oil for the first time I put the old stuff into a jug and aprox 670ml came out (my manual says 700ml which is about right) so when I filled it up I put around the same back in.
When I checked the level with the dip stick I had to screw it in to get a reading which was most of the flat bit. |

First buy another oil drain plug.
Then use a pipe wrench to get the old one off.
You don't have to put the new plug in that tight since it has an "o" ring seal, just tight enough to insure it wont become loose.

| Yeah it's really important to change engine and gear oil on time. Here's a pretty simple video on youtube showing how to do it for Flyscooters. I'm not sure if other Chinese scooters are built the same, but it's pretty basic and straight forward. Hope this helps! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2fSVNYZsSc

You should be using 80w90 for the transmision oil as standard 10w40 oil will burn up quicker._________________ Stage6 Speedy:

Changed the oil, and stoped pouring after 700 ml on the bottle. It was a bit too much, so I let out some. Could it be that it only holds 650 ml? I let it drain for a few minutes, even turned the engine over a few times.
200km and it was very muddy.

I went to the motocross shop today local to me and bought some 5/40w fully synthetic 4t bike oil.
Changed it anyway.
The last stuff I had was red and when I emptied it today it came out black. _________________ Stage6 Speedy:
