don't know if this will be of any use to any one but I thought I would do it anyway

1. buy some metal materail that isn't too thick but is quite strong, I got a 2 foot x foot piece of alloy from b and q for 14 pounds.

2. trace your footpanels on the piece of material. do this with a thin marker so that the cut line is more accurate.

3. then use a jigsaw with a fine blade to cut out the traced footplate, becareful this has to be cut pretty accurate so that it will sit flush.

4. file down any rough edges the jigsaw cut may have cause, I just used some fine sandpaper.

5. check that it fits, it is up to you how you fit the plate to the bike I've just used some standard 8mm bolts, I think it look allrite but you can you use whatever you want to hold it in place

here is some pics of what mine looks like

thanks motoboy

You could cut a small box in it so you can get to your battery

Yes that looks great, I was considering doing that to my scoot and will now do it and make sure I also put a way into my battery cover too.

Thanks Very Happy
