First, kindly note that the Chinese Scooter Club Forum Index suggests that you "do not post questions" in the Hints and Tips forums, which are supposed to be more of a quick reference. Other sections are for questions, and maybe someone might move your question suitably.
There are at least three different ways to use oil in a "moped". A two-stroke engine requires oil added regularly as you run, so it burns with the gasoline. Your four-stroke engine has two places to put oil, or to change oil after some thousands of kilometers. (The "BT49qt-9" in your topic was the clue that we're discussing a four-stroke.) These require oil in the engine, and a different kind of oil in the gearbox.
Which oil to use, in each situation, is a huge debate-starter. I expect plenty of people to start chiming in with links or advice, but here's what I'm going to do with my similar scooter.
After it has reached ~300mi, I will replace the factory oil in the gearbox with 80-90w synthetic, and leave it alone nearly forever.
After it has reached ~300mi, and every ~1000mi afterwards, I will replace the oil in the engine with 10w-40 synthetic.
Before the ~300mi mark, I have heard that non-synthetic (aka mineral) oil is preferable, to give the engine something to chew on and wear down the rough factory edges that need wearing down. After that, use what you like but synthetic lasts longer before breaking down.
And don't use anything made for a lawn mower, regardless. _________________ --
