Are you talking about where the exhaust pipe bolts up to the engine?
What kind of scooter do you have? _________________ '07 JMSTAR YY50QT-20 |

Yes. There is a gasket on the engine.
There is an oval type, and a round type.

40 on a flat for a 50cc is not bad. Hills are always a killer for 50cc. How well they do on a hill depends on your weight an how steep the hill is. There were some hills that the best I could do on my 50cc was 20 mph while on a flat I could go 48 mph. If my son, 12, was on the back it really slowed me down. 50cc can be quick but lack the power of the bigger engines. _________________ SUNL 49cc SPORT SL50QT-2 - Sold

To get more power going up hills, a lighter ser of rollers would help - say a 4.5 or 5gm set. _________________ Larry8 and my babies:

Even a new set of standard (original weight) rollers you will still slow down considerably going up hills. _________________ Larry8 and my babies:

Sometimes it says the weight of the rollers on the package, or call the dealer you got them from. You can also take them to a pharmacy or jewelery store and ask them to weigh them for you since they have the scale to weigh pills or jewels. _________________ Larry8 and my babies:
