Shopping for a new 49cc 2 Stroke scoot for my wife that has dual starting; 12-13" wheels and decent 35-40 mph performance.
Saw a Keeway Hurricane 49cc advert online ... anyone have experience with this model?
Anyone out there with experience "un-restricting" these 2 strokes - e.g. What procedure is involved? _________________ No more running dogs on the menu |

Most scoots sold in the US are already derestricted. The restricted scoots are predominantly sold in the UK, on account of their regulations being many times stiffer on scoots than over here, due to their popularity. A scooter over in the east is seen like the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla is viewed here, for the present moment that is. The times are changing rapidly though with these gas prices now.
Keyways are really good scoot from what I hear. They are just starting to come into my area, but what I've heard sofar have been excellent testimonials.
Check out www.scootertronics.com they feature Keyways if you wanna know more about them...
Hope it helps _________________ Parents: DO NOT let your child chew on your scooter!
