nikolai, I used your technique, and I gotta say, it's the real deal! I received a MRP racing clutch today with 1000 rpm BLUE springs installed today. I removed the old clutch, and was able to replace the entire thing in about 10 total minutes.
I loaded up my 11gram weights, and with the 1000 rpm clutch springs, and the 1500 rpm contra spring, it's the right mixture for my physical rider weight and my bike. I got quick hole shots, and didn't lose any top speed from my prior run with the 1500 rpm clutch springs and 14gram weights.
In conclusion, I'm going to stick with the 1000 rpm blue clutch springs and the 1500 rpm contra springs. The 11 gram weights will stay in for a while, until I get some other issues sorted out. I believe this will be a strong setup for this bike. I suggest you consider this spring mixture if you have a 150cc bike.

I have been trying to read up on the subject to get an understanding but am wondering guys..The lighter the springs the easier it lets the clutch contact the bell is this right?
If so what would you guys recommend for a 50cc 139qmb 4 stroke,
Thanks
