Take off the cap on the top of the carburetor. Then remove the rubber piece carefully paying close attention to the way everything comes out. Check the rubber piece for holes or cracks. If it looks good, put it back in. There is a spring, a needle and a little plastic piece in there. Don't bend the needle! Make sure the plastic piece drops in all the way when re-installing everything. You may need to use a small screwdriver to get it to drop in correctly. Take care to make sure the diaphragm is seated properly all the way around and replace the cap.

If the rubber diaphragm is ok, then you'll need to remove the carb and clean it all out. It probably has some dirt or grit in the jets or is all gummed up from sitting.

I would drain the gas tank and re-fill it with fresh gas too if it's been sitting long.

Here's a couple pics and a link to help you.

This will help you remove and clean the carb:

Yeah it could be water in there. There's a drain screw on the bottom of the carb.

It is the same. An engine is an engine. Fuel compression and spark at the right time. :icon_icon_blah: :icon_icon_blah: :icon_icon_blah:
