when I pull air through the black hose, gas comes out of the clear hose, and delivers 2 the carb.

now, I noticed that the clear hose has less ans less gas in it every weak, and soon, I fear it will stop all together.

I would like to do away w/ this system anyway, and premix.

any notions on the workings of this.

I would also like to know why my oil hose (from the resivoir, goes right in to my tranny??
that BOGGLES my mind, I cant stand not knowing how things work.

I think you are talking about the petcock. That is a valve, not a pump. It is a safety feature in that vacuum from the manifold opens the valve and when you shut the engine off, the valve closes. If what you see is air in the fuel hose, maybe it is routed such a way that it traps air.

The oil pump must be located in the transmission area is my guess. There should be another line from that area that delivers the oil to the engine or carb.

so basically, I wont b able 2 premix unless I get a new petcock, or do some surgery.

and joe, I figured the pump was in the tranny,(I didnt mean 2 call the pet c**k the pump) but I can never find a hose going from there to the carb, or the motor, so the hose must be totally enclosed between the motor and tranny, which is another reason I cant premix.

I have the whole scoot figured out, its just these couple things that r very foreign 2 me.
