Hey--
Just got my scoot, pulled it out of the box and started to assemble it. It says motobravo at the bottom and renegade on the side panel--not exactly sure of the company who makes them, but to the question.
Everything went together easily and smoothly except the front whel/brake. There is a large silver disc attatched to the wheel, and that slides into a brake with two pads that lock down on the disc when the lever is pulled, which is attatched to the fork. My problem is the pads are pulled tight together from pulling the brake lever, but I can't release them to slide the disc in, and if I did I'm afraid it would just lock down on the disc, since it doesn't release. How do I adjust the brake?
Thanks-- just want to get riding!

Put a screwdriver between the two pads and GENTLY lever them apart so you can slide them over the disk.

Pump the lever to take up the slack between pad and disk.
