Probably a boring question but I have heard different things but what is the definitive answer. What should the tyre pressure be on the above bike?

Sat Jul 19, 2008 12:20 am   Look at your tire, and find"Kpa" and write down nu

then go to your computer and type in "kpa to psi converter"(

you should find one quickly, it took me 15 seconds!(then I noticed my pressure gauge had "kpa" on it the whole time!!)

I keep mine just below the recommended psi, just cuz it gets hot, and expands, and it helps me do wheelies.

hope this helps,

It has nothing to do with the make and model of your bike.

Look at the side of your tire. It will say something like: "inflate to 35 psi max" in some small print that is molded onto the tire.

I found with my 125cc scoot that 26 psi rear and 24 front worked best for me.
If you use the sidewall pressure you will get better gas mileage. At the pressures I used it seems to stick to the road in corners better than the higher pressures.

 When you see max pressure on a tire, say 35#s, It means that is all the max pressue the tire manufacture wants in the tire. How much air needed in the tire is left up to th scooter manufacture,as long they do not exceed max pressure.

I say it's left up to me and you.

True Mr. Fox. I should have said the Scooter manufacturer sets guide lines and we put it where we want it.
