| I noticed gas leaking out of my scoot yesterday. When I took the plastic off I saw that the fuel filter was leaking a little bit. My question is Does Anybody know what type of filter I should replace it with and if it is possible to find a suitable on at any of my local auto parts store? |

The filters are a throw away item. Go to a motorcycle dealer or a lawn mower shop. There is usually an arrow indicating fuel flow direction on the side of most filters.
I got this one for $1.79 at a local Yamaha dealer.

| Are there no certain size specs? The factory one on my bike is about the same size as the one in your pic just a different shape. |

| Take your filter with you and ask the guy at the bike or lawnmower shop for a cheap throw away filter to replace the one in your hand. :wink: |
