Sheila is lovely.
Were you able to wire up the 12v outlet without taking the front fairing off. I presume you wired it from the battery and fused the line>

I had to take the front off. It's not all that difficult if you remove the screws at the top by the handlebars. then the whole front comes up. Yea, straight to the battery with a fuse.

I really like the silver... I went with the yellow thinking I'd be seen easier... I own a comic book store in Florida so my buddy and I are probably going to strip the clear coat and either do a Captain America Scoot or an Iron-Man scoot. I'll post pics once we start and the finished product.

What size fuze did you use? Thanks!

I don't recall what fuse it had. I got the outlet kit from radio shack and it came with it preinstalled.

Look forward to the final result of your scoot. Personally I'd lean towards iron man. :)

Iron-Man was my first choice .... until the first shot of paint hits the scoot it could still go either way. We'll see.... I will however document the entire project from start to finish for all to see. Realistically, I'll probably be full steam ahead on it in about 6-8 weeks. :D

Lookin good! 8)
I call that bodystyle 150, Reflex Jr.
I like those mirrors. It don't look anywhere near as gawdy as the stock signal/mirrors do. Much much cleaner look. Are they wired up and working?

Yea, wired up and working great. I did it by taping into the signal lines before the connection to the existing signals and put in plugs so that I can easily remove them if I need to.

That will work ;)
If I keep and fix up what I got, I'm getting rid of those DOT signals. They look so outta place. It has perfectly good lenses built into the front. So it should be a simple matter of pulling the wires outta the DOT bulbs and wiring up and slipping in smaller bulbs behind the lenses. Why they didn't do that to begin with, I haven't a clue! :icon_dunno:

Looks good... I'm really liking those mirrors as well... followed the link you provided (thanks) and am thinking about installing them with the two inch offset/extension although the offset costs damn near as much as the pair of mirrors?!?!?!!?!?!

Anyway, with or without those mirrors I'm going to convert all the turn signal bulbs to LEDs.... I found a set for the rear that only pull half a watt. Hoping to find replacement bulbs for the front signals that are close... I'll let ya'll know what I come up with...
