For all you bike experts, anyone know anything about the Yammy Thundercat? It's looking like the bike I'm going to get this summer, it's cheap, which means it's old, but it doesn't look like the old sports bike with their square rear tails and light. And it costing me the same in insurance as it does my 125 I'd be stupid not to.
How sexy is it! Doesn't look like a 10yr old bike. Plus it has an ace name 8) |

| Should hopefully be looking around the 1500 mark. Been looking at vidoes of them and they look too fast, 105bhp, 140mph? But it's hard to find a decent bike under 500cc. A 250 would be ideal but they are 2 strokes and I don't like the look of them. |

I've never seen a 2stroke past 70cc.
I heard someone had an 02 Dragster 180cc floating around over here, but I think it was a military guy that had it and later learned it was unregisterable.
I bet he takes it out anyways and just idles it around the cops in town.
Being a 2stroke and so oddball looking, he could probably get away with riding it like that until the frame rusts right in two! |

| Well the Thundercat has/had a great reputation for being comfy, fast and reliable. As long as it's working as it should, I can't see you having a problem with it. :icon_thumbs_up: |

I should be alright as long as I don't mess about and get too cocky, I can afford to do it with the 125, it can pull my arms a bit if I mess up but it won't flip me off it.
Can't wait  |

Thundercat will do well as a first proper bike.
I borrowed one once when mine went in for it's first service.
Very comfy, slick gearbox and reasonably fast. |

Get your self a Suzuki T500 if you want a good 2 stroke, and then turn it in to a cafe racer as they are realy cool and sound fantastic!

If I had a bag of sand and a half for a bike I'd buy a original pop up headlamp Katana

mates got 99 t-reg one, nice bikes although they are a bit tourer-ish for me with their highset bars. Good, strong engines and decent build quality... cool :D
