Evening to all.

Just completed 300km on my first chinese scooter. I am pleased to report that I have had no problems so far. First impressions are good.
I changed the oil as soon as I got it. I have not done anything else other than check all nuts and bolts. The faulty fuel gauge that I reported in previous post was just that the needle had got stuck.
I have had 300k of steady scootering, the scooter has held up well come rain or shine, uphill (if a little slow) and along the flat, 50kph.
I can not recommend these scooters enough, value for money and quality along with the economy (I am getting around 100miles) is great.
I know I havent had it long but start as you mean to go on, and the start has been superb.
The trip to work has been a delight.
 ROFL

Hi

Just an update, completed 1300 chinometers in 5 weeks, since purchase. Changed oil for second time after 1000 chinometers. Replaced rollers with 4.5gm, which has increased hill climbing ability, and acceleration.
Have not done anything on the derestriction front as the scooter is going along nicely at 50-55kph, and maintaining speed up hill.
Overall still very happy with scooter.
Easy to service, still getting around 90-95 to the gallon, and no problems to report.
Still enjoying the experience.
