Not exactly wure what you mean by "all in one waterproofs". But I've heard that rain suits work great, just find yourself a pair of rain suit pants and you should be good.
When its cold for me, I usually where a pair of running pants (they act as a wind breaker) over my jeans and is usually good (for me) down to 20F |

| best thing to stop cold getting to you is layers, I always wear long johns under my jeans whens its cold, so prehaps get a pair of them and wear something on top of your jeans too, that would definately keep the cold out I think |

| If it's realy cold, forget jeans or joggies or overtrousers... buy a proper set of motorcycle trousers with a zip-in thermal liner and good armour, you can pick a set up off eBay for £38 inc postage. Best money I ever spent!!! |

I used a 2pc rainsuit from wal-mart over my regular clothes, sweatshirt, and thermals this past winter and did fine with it. The places where the draft still got me was inside my helmet where my faceshield was cracked, and I coulda used a good pair of snomobile gauntlet gloves. The gloves I had just barely fit over the jacket sleeves.
My next bike will likely be a gear bike (God-willing) so I'll probably finance in a pair of gauntlets, leather chaps and a jacket along with the bike. Hell, might as well get a helmet with decent seals too. It's due to expire in a few months anyway. If I'm gonna be in debt, I'm gonna do it right! :D |

I have leather chaps that work well for keeping the wind off the legs. They are easy to remove once you arrive at your destination. They need to be a snug fit at the boot so wind does not get in.

| I wouldn't recommend a one piece rainsuit. As soon as you've put it on you always want to go to the toilet. |

25* with a 40mph winchill added on top is DAMN cold regardless of what state you reside!
With my $23 Walmart rainsuit, sweats over my uniform, a full-face helmet, and my gauntlet style gloves that cover up half your forearm, did the trick for me! :D Even though I got my license reinstated over a year n a half ago, I still ride my scoot year round in relative comfort.
What kinda material is Cordura? Is it non-porous like pvc? I've always stuck with the pvc because it's what makes a rainsuit also windproof..... (I think.?.?.?) |
