| cleaned jet new variator new ngk spark plug new belt and now it wont go faster than 20 !!! |

Did you notice the numbers stamped on thejet when you cleaned it?
If it was less then #85 there's your problem. |

| It takes about 100k for a new belt to run in, mine ran like a POS for the first week, then I did a long run with it to Wellsbourne and now it pulls like a good un and goes off the clock downhill! |

| my jet said 90 on it and thats from stock like so it obviosuly isnt 90 theyre just lying or something |

| Take the air filter tube off the back of the carb and move it to the side and ride it down the street with no air filter. If it improves then you are getting closer to the solution..... |

| ive narrowed it down to the clutch not gearing up properly. because his old belt melted and snapped, some of it got stuck round the contra spring and stopped the halves opening properly so it couldn't go past 20. |
