| I just bought an assembled kick and crankshaft cover, installed it and when I tried to kick it it moved but didn't make the sound I'm used to or any sound at all actually. Am I missing something? |

| I'm not sure if I do. I kick is definitely cranking it just doesn't seem fast enough. I should also mention that starting it up with the starter motor works so it's not like it won't run. |

| if it's turning it over theres nothing missing. does it feel lighter? does it spring back? it's best to get it working just incase you need it. |

I've never had a kick on this thing. On my old scooter I would hear a "chug, chug, chug" when I attempt to kick start it but with this scooter I don't that.
edit: It does spring back but I'm not sure what you mean by lighter. |

Well I got her running. It seemed to need a decent amount of priming before I gave it a kick and it started up. I hope this isn't the case every time cause my throttle doesn't seem to come down on the primer pump quick enough and I have to stick my hand in there and do it myself. I gotta say though that that kick is really quiet.
Also when it started it was really weak but it climbed to normal after a few seconds. Could this be because my idle is set too low and the choke hadn't warmed up yet? Or maybe water in my tank (it sat in some light snow for about 10 minutes a few weeks back)? |

| good to see its working. it can be normal for it to run slow then climb to normal idle, while its doing this twist the throttle a little bit and it should get up to speed quicker. |
