Hi, can anyone recommend some good online stores to purchase performance parts from, for the Baotian BT49QT-12 Rebel?
I have had a look at scooter assassins but never received a response when asking if a part would fit my bike so not sure how reliable they are? Has anyone had an experience dealing with them?
Many thanks

What type of upgrades/mods are you thinking of doing? It might help for directing you to the right store. :D
Personally, I've outfitted my bike mostly from ebay, and had great success getting parts..... I also had a similar experience recently with scooter assassins, and the general opinion around here is that they've forgotten what customer service is. Buyer beware.

Thank you for your reply. I am looking for the sports CDI unit, variator, and lighter rollers
Cheers

Scooter Assassins are notoriously slow at delivering and never reply to emails but you always get your stuff in the end. |

Try here for rollers and main jets, they come highly recommended. |

After trying just about every performance mod there is apart from a 70cc kit, I've found the only worthwhile modification to these bikes is to change the rollers for a set of 4.7g or similar. 4.4g is also a good choice. You can get them via next day delivery from www.beedspeed.com just search for 16x13 rollers.
Regarding jets, filters etc all I found was upjetting and a freeflow filter made lots more noise, dropped my fuel economy, made no more power, and conked my bike out every time it rained! I'm now back to the stock jet, stock airbox, 40 - 45mph on the flat and way off the clock downhill! |
