| Got a quote online for a scoot with Bennetts but the only one they list near my model is a BT49QT-9 and it was a great quote........however........when I called them they couldnt insure me as they dont list a BT49QT-12 which is what I have bought, other people have quoted for it but not as cheap. I am starting to wish I hadnt went to the bike shop and bought one now :( |

Bennets may be cheaper in this case, but they are sometimes not as good, they often have higher excess, no breakdown cover, clause's you did'nt notice, some of their policies cant be trusted with-out the help of a solicitor!
You might find you get this problem of companies not having your model on file, although Baotian are normally recognised by most, have you tried Carole Nash, or Hastings?
Its worth looking at break down cover if its offered, some times if its an option its cheaper to get your own, NCI for under £40 for example, and leave it off your bike insurance.
If you opt for their credit services, be carefull, sometimes its cheaper to buy it on a card than pay their extortionate interest rates. |

| I was with Bennetts for a whole year where they forgot to send out my Certificate of Insurance! I only noticed when I needed to tax the bike. Rang them up and some dopey farm animal on the other end said "Oh we must have forgotten to send it out" |

| I tried to quote my baotian bt59qt9 with bennets and got a ridiculous quote of £559, but my premium with rampdale at the moment is £200, so I think ill stick with rampdale :) |

I had the same problem with my jinlun 125T-12, I have been with bennetts before but they could not insure this scooter as they did not list my particular model.
They did the one above 125-13 and the one below 125-10 and 11 but did not do the 12 how stupid is that.
I tried loads of other companies even carol nash who I have just been with which ended in january but they wanted a really stupid amount to insure it.
Eventually I found Bikesure and got a really good deal which was fully comp, with all my legal cover, my breakdown and it was good to talk to professional polite staff and I had no messing around they went away and phoned me back and I took out the policy with them so would recommend them to anyone. |

| Try HRC... I've been quoted £100.16 TPF&T on a 125 Jinlun cruiser for both me AND my girlfriend as riders! |
