as most of you who where online last night know we had a little ginger crackhead who was slagging of our chinese machines.
this guy had great pleasure in telling us how great his peugeot speedshite was.
the sad part for him was most the peugeots are now made in china same as our bikes so this braindead ginge as just paid an extra £500 to have the name peugeot stickered to his bike.
I think I wrote up on this before somewhere heres a summary
geely 125 v speedshite
1. looks
both bikes look identical so theres really nothing in it there
2 speed
sadly the speedshite is a little quicker but with the speed limit set at 30mph whats the real advantage?
3. price
speedshite £1500 otr . geely £900 otr
summary .
your buying a french bike made in china which goes around 5mph faster for this extra power you are paying £600
conlusion.
a peugeot sticker is all of a £5 and with around £100 of mods you have a bike that looks like a speedshite buts quicker and cheaper now in future if you want to have a dig at chinese bike owners read this whos the dummy? |

I'd love to have a Speedfight 100 2stroke. I'd take a 150cc Pulse Lightspeed. I just like the looks of it. A basic K&N filter swap along with a hi-flow exhaust and rejet will put you passing the stock Peugeot while still having $300 left in your wallet.
Neither the Peugeot or the Pulse are imported over here. I don't understand why. I think it's one of the hottest lookin sportbike scoots out there. |

I used to want one of those, but couldn't afford one so I bought a Bajaj. Since then I've heard how badly made they are. Bike for bike I prefer the Aerox, which is almost identical in looks, but has Paioli forks (Yamaha own them as well) so it goes round corners.

They are awful darn close... :D
I'd be just as happy with China's lightspeed equivalent in a 150cc.
I like the look & style of the smaller sportbikes. They just aren't available out here.
I never was one for the maxi-scoots. To me thats an automatic motorcycle, not a scooter. |
