If you're planning on getting a free flow air filter, steer clear of this one: http://adrenalin-pedstop.co.uk/p/DOPPLER-AIR-SYSTEM-SCOOTER-SPO-660.aspx

I fitted it yesterday, jammed it right on and tightened the metal 'tie wrap' as much as I could. Today I was riding to school and thought I heard the sound of plastic hitting the road, almost like running over a yoghurt pot, but didn't really think much of it, went to show one of my mates it about 2 hours later on my break and it was nowhere to be seen. I checked back in my tracks up and down as I only live 1 or 2 minutes from my school and it was nowhere to be seen. I am sure that I heard it come off. Maybe some chav picked it up to put it in their Corsa or something.

You're probably thinking 'he didn't attach it properly or tighten it enough', I thought that was the obvious thing to think at the time as well, but the connection was still left on the carb along with the metal tie wrap, so the air filter had basically split into 2 parts.

Just thought I would warn you ;)

P.S I have now strapped a bit of T-shirt rag onto my air intake with rubber bands for the time being and ordered a new, cheaper K&N style filter.

I have emailed them, if I still have no reply by tomorrow afternoon I'll give them a ring :) If they send me another I will just super glue that bit together so hopefully I won't have the same problem again!
