I bought a Yiying retro (which I think is a copy of a baotian retro?)
and use it to get to and from work.
I normally start it in the morning, let it heat up then ride it with no problems. However, its started cutting out on me when slowing down I.e. at junctions.
The revs get slower and slower then it stops.
I'm thinking that the best way to solve this is adjust the revs by adjusting the screw on the carb - sound right?
And if so, do you know how to easily get to the carb?

Normally you can get to it from under the seatt bucket.
At worst, you'll need to remove the seat. the screw is on the top and to the right. |

Yep! There's a little access panel on the bottom of the seat bucket.
Adjust the idle screw with the scooter on the main stand to a speed just before the rear wheel starts to turn.
You may need to adjust the idle mixture screw a little. To do that, you will probably have to remove the entire seat/bucket unit. If you need help with the mixture just post back.
Cleaning the air filter and a new NGKCR7HSA spark plug will also be of benefit.

Many many thanks - will give it a shot and let you know.
The bike was brand new when I got it - and only done 300k's. I'll get a new spark anyway - can't do any harm
