I'll never use Scooter Assassins again.

I ordered some replacement air filters from them back in early November and the item shipping description reads 14 days by air mail. After 4 weeks they still had not arrived so after numerous questions through ebay and text messages through skype, I was informed that they had been sent back to them from the UK and that they will now ship them back using EMS tracking. They arrived about 10 days after that.
I also ordered a Bando belt a few days after the order for the filters and yes 4 weeks later and no show, so after numerous ebay questions no replies, so I decided to lodge a dispute via paypal. In the dialogue he states that the belt was also sent back to them, I find that hard to believe as they were shipped to two different addresses. You can read the conversations below, but apparently I am now banned from Scooter Assassins web sites, thank F@@K.

Because we do more business than many others we will get a couple of people on forums saying we are s**t , but in reality we design and produce many amazing items and know the business inside out and have 1000s of happy customers , why you think you won't get this item and our comms are s**t I have no idea? as you can and have contacted us many times... opening a dispute means you are banned forever from our sites (this is a strict policy). which is a shame as we have many many other parts for your bike and I have personally stripped down and rebuilt a g-max 150cc and have a business relationship with PGO directly in order to provide a better service, comms will stop now ,Thanks anyway

David, I find it hard to believe that two packages to two different addresses happened to come back to you. How could this be if they were addressed correctly in the first place, they certainly didn't arrive at my door. Is it not the case that whoever packs the products just doesn't bother. Patchy communication I would say yes as I have sent you various ebay questions regarding this and had no reply. Scooter Assassins in general gets a bad press on the forums here in the UK for both shipping and communications.If the belt has been sent with EMS tracking you wouldn't mind passing on the tracking number like you did with the filters.I didn't want to resort to informing paypal, but I was getting nowhere fast and hope that now the problem will be resolved.

Hi delivery is by tracked ems courier via parcel force your end , delivery is around about today, this parcel, also came back and was re-shipped along with a free set of rear brakes, the delivery address is not the same as the air filters, to a house and not the school. let me know when it arrives. patchy comms ???? , thanks

It has now been one calendar month since I ordered my item and the shipping description for this item states 14 days by airmail, I think I have allowed adequite time for delays and such. Communication has been patchy to say the least.

I do think Scooter Assassins have some really good products but they do take forever to get to you. I know they are a business and are there to make money and probably can't afford to send things on a 24hr courior but they do really need to start communicating with their customers.

I bought a carb from them, it took 2 weeks to arrive and I don't think I got a signle email from them, but I managed to set it up with minimal tweeking which was great.

I think in future when I need something that they sell I will try and find it elsewhere pureply because I can't wait 2 weeks for something.

The belt arrived today and had a tracking number on it, think it's the wrong one though as it is not a Bando as advertised but a DRB, it was sent on 17/12/07, so it looks like they forgot to ship it in the first place. If that tracking number had been sent to me in the first place it would have made a difference. 14 days is long enough to wait for an item and 4 weeks is just taking the piss, not the way I would conduct business.
His replies say it all, he has a non business like attitude to customers.
Being banned for justly asking about the whereabouts of my item is just plain stupid, what are we supposed to do just wait and wait and wait some more, no way, when there is a process in place to take it further then I will utilise it.

That guy David is probably the only person behind S.A. and he's working out of his home. He probably has no inventory but instead orders parts as they are required so he has to wait for them to arrive at his house and the he ships them to his customers. That's why it takes forever. If you look at the website, all the stuff has Chinese writing on the package. Nothing has"Scooter Assassins" printed on it. He's just a guy who marks up the prices and ships stuff out. That's the magic of the internet! You can be whatever you say you are and nobody is the wiser.

Fox, I think you have a point there, I think he is so un-organised he must be working for himself. I think Carlos who is Autotech on ebay gives a better service and his comms are great, mind you when I mentioned this to S.A. he went ape s**t and said that he sells more parts than Autotech.

I'm afraid you better re-order thru someone else if you are waiting to ride your bike on this part. They can take upwards of 1year in some cases and if you so much as frown at them about it, you will be banished from their site and then may never see your part.
They are funny about people that bitch about it taking the full year. :?
