Lately a lot of people have been getting dirt bikes. Are the roads that bad you need a D/B to handle the potholes like in say NY? :P

He has road tyres so he's not going anywhere apart from the road. The off-road style bikes seem to be quite cheap, thats why I got one, probably because there is nothing to them. He'll be able to adjust his carb and engine without removing any panels. All I have to remove is the rear fairing to get to the battery, and some chrome ring thing to get to my spark plug. Everything else I need to get to is pretty accessible.

Well from that aspect, you do have a point. With it being so high-up n all how is the handeling? Would it handle twisty roads pretty good? What about long haul road trips?

I am 6ft 2 so the bike suits me a lot better than the old scoot the handling is great on it I nearly got my knee down today but I stopped because I nearly s**t myself good fun though when I get the balls to I will. going round islands the back end starts to kick out but it just drifts not falls its so much better than a scoot I would reccomend this to anyone

Get some decent tyres and wait for the dry weather before you try to get your knee down.

currently having some problems the dealer is sorting it out but water has been getting into the carb. the dealer told me it was down to a cracked seal on the pipe between the air box and the carb

hope its not the case BUT!!

watch your dealer there not known for being the best when it comes to customer service
I know they where very unhelpfull when hung daddy had a problem

and me personelly they wouldnt sell me a bike as they said it would be unsafe for me witch seemed strange
being as every other dealer had know problem selling me a machine.

I think it was me being a big lad that they didnt want to deal with me but cant prove it

there loss though cash was in my pocket.

hope you get it sorted soon

tyres I'd recomend would always be michelin or pirelli tyres, on the 9 motorcycles I have had over my time I have always swapped them for either of those 2 makes of tyres

I run the pilot-sc from michelin on mine. It might be a bit overkill for a chinese buck-n-a-half motored bike, but the ride improved 200% over the Kenda 413's that were on it from the start. 8)
The bike doesn't shake at any speed now and the back roads are fun again :D
