GREAT IDEA......when I am allowed to give ks thats 5 I would like to award you ..this is the very best chinese forum and geared bikes are not well represented here and I do not get any advice whatso ever from the pit bike forums as they have to go to bed by 7....and are only concerned with race bikes and getting covered in mud ....I would be happy to contribute all of the info I have collected on lifan horizontals (there are no manuals for these bikes except old honda books) and no road bike forums ...... GREAT IDEA........
safe riding kim |

They want a section dedicated to geared Chinese motorcycles. |

Yeah well px..... It's called "NON-CHINESE" so they feel like they would be wrong for posting there.
They want a section just for "CHINESE MOTORCYCLES" Get it? :?:

Yeah, but then everyone with a pit bike would post in there. |

To be honest only GP can add extra sections because it's his site. |

Point well made.
It is the Chinese SCOOTER Forum. Not the Chinese "Anything with two wheels" Forum.... LOL |

The section was put in because some members wanted to have a bike but still chat on here. And very welcome they are too (Frainey, McLovin Kimberly, Stella etc etc)
The trouble with having a dedicated Chinese bike section is that it might overwhelm the scooter section simply because bikes are far more popular than scooters, and there's little enough unbiased info about Chinese scooters on the Internet.
There is shedloads of techical stuff about bikes across the net. The Chinese motorbikes are all similar to CG125s and C50s. The problems they have will be few and far between and much better covered by others more used to them than we could manage.
This is just my 2p worth. The final say goes to GP. |

Be care ful what you wish for. Someone started a Chinese MC Club & Forum over here in Denmark two years ago. When I joined there were about 30 members and it's now got more than 600, all with Chinese bikes!
A few of us us have both scoot and bike but the two don't really mingle well on forums for some reason. No idea why.
Could it be because MC guys consider scooterists to be limp-wristed, effeminate types and that scooterists peceive bikers as crude, leather-clad weirdoes :D :D :D ?
Funnily enough, I think there's quite a lot of 'bikers' who own a little winter runaround scoot, but not all of them like to admit it
Couldn't section be renamed 'Chinese Motorbike Chat/Non-Chinese Scooters'. That would solve the confusion in the title
Cheers
