| I have a red one just like that and both kickstands are gone as well as the horn. the horn just fell out of the scooter while I was driving. same with the side kickstand and the large kickstand just crumbled into two pieces today when I tried to use it. |

Okay so it looks like this:
Where did you buy it? Did it have a warranty? I would take it back to where you got it and say: "What the F@*K are you going to do about this?"
There are a lot of scoots out there just like it with different names and This is the first I've ever heard of a stand just buckling like that. And don't get me started on the horn falling out. :icon_angry_3:
I would just ask for a refund and try to return it if I were you. if they won't do that, tell them that you want the parts replaced free of charge. That's bulls*@T! :x
Good Luck Dave :) |

| I did have a warranty and it has already expired. I got it last thanksgiving and have put 8 thousand miles on it. I have already blown up one engine, one clutch, two belts, a horn and now two kickstands and another horn. I drive it from the valley to santa monica every day through the canyons which is a 34 mile round trip. |

Sounds like you haven't been changing your oils and looking after it.
These Chinky scoots are great if you know how to maintain them. But as far as a kickstand crumbling , ??? That just boggles the mind.
There is a place in Ontario, Ca. on Holt Blvd. that has parts and a full service bay. They are called Allpro Powersports. 909-983-6200.

Your kickstands are here:

They are nice people.
Tell them your scooter is just like a Roketa Tahiti 150
Tell them Dave Fox Sent you. They Know me.

I have been changing the oil every 1000 miles. that is what they told me to do. what else should I be doing that I don't know about?
as far as the first engine blowing up I was told that for my size 5-10 and 175 pounds that I need a bigger bike especially since I take it up and down very steep hills in the canyons every day. I have to floor it just to make it up those hills and that puts lots of strain on the little engine. I have already gone through two belts and the shop told me that was from going up major hills constantly. is that right? |

Blondie for that kind of riding I think you'd be better off with a geared motorbike, the transmission is a hell of a lot tougher than a scooter tranny and because you change gears yourself you can match the engine revs to the bike speed better than a CVT can. Bikes also produce a little more power from the same sized engine and there are less losses in the transmission.
As well as oil changes it's worth going over all the metal parts of the bike with a spray of WD40 or similar (not your brake disks though!) to help prevent corrosion, plus give all nuts and bolts a tighten up every now and then and inspect all parts for signs of cracks or rust. This preventative maintenance may not prevent a part from breaking, but you'll spot that it's cracked long before it breaks and you can change it at your leisure without a catastrophic failure later on.
Hope you get it sorted! |

Well depending on who you ask, 8k miles is considered old age in scooterville. I think all things considered, you got a decent return on your investment.
Although I never heard of a kickstand just disintegrating before at any age.... that's a new one for me. If none of the above have one, try http://www.scootertronics.com or http://www.partsforscooters.com/ |
